Why Publish With Us

A real credential you can
cite.share.put on applications.keep for life.

Most people don't publish until university. You can start now — and keep it for life.

01

Real, citable publication

Not a school project filed away — a permanent record with a DOI, which you can list on college applications and resumes.

02

International recognition

Published alongside students from around the world, open access, and free for anyone anywhere to read.

03

Genuine editorial feedback

Every submission is read and assessed by real scientists, who tell you specifically how to make your work stronger.

04

Real research skills

You practise what working scientists and engineers actually do — structuring an argument, citing sources, defending a claim.

05

A public portfolio

Something you can link, share and point to — evidence of what you can do, rather than a claim about it.

06

Recognition for your school

Your school and your mentor are named on your published article, so the credit travels with you.

You keep full copyright of your work. We simply have your licence to publish it — so you are always free to share or reuse it elsewhere.

Frequently asked questions

Who can submit?

Students in grades 8–12, from any country.

Is there a cost?

It's free to submit and free to be reviewed. An Article Processing Charge applies only if your article is accepted — see Publication Fees.

What happens if my article isn't accepted?

No fee is ever charged for articles that aren't accepted. We'll notify you by email, and you're welcome to revise and submit again.

Can I submit more than one article?

Yes — you may submit more than one article. To keep our review process fair and timely, please wait until your current submission has been reviewed before submitting another.

Can I use AI tools like ChatGPT or Claude?

Yes — as a helper. Using AI to fix your grammar or help you understand a topic is fine. But the experiment, the build, the ideas, and the words should be yours — AI can help you, but it can't be the author. You'll be asked to tell us how you used AI when you submit, so just be honest.

How is my data and privacy handled?

Privacy & Data Policy

What we collect

When you submit an article, we collect: your name, age/grade, school name, city/country, and a parent or guardian's email address. We do not require students to create an account or provide a personal email address to submit.

Why we collect it

This information is used to verify eligibility, contact you and your parent/guardian about your submission status, and to credit your work if published. Country information is also used to determine publication fee eligibility under our income-based pricing.

Parental involvement

Because our authors are minors, we require a parent or guardian's email address at the time of submission. All status updates, review decisions, and payment requests (if applicable) are sent to this email address.

What we publish publicly

If your article is accepted, we publish your name, grade, school name, and country alongside your work. We do not publish your personal email or any other contact details.

Data retention and sharing

We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties. We may occasionally send updates about the journal (such as new volumes or calls for submissions) to the parent/guardian email provided — you can opt out of these at any time.

Your rights

Parents/guardians may request access to, correction of, or deletion of their child's submitted information at any time by contacting editor@intellectaa.com.

For Schools

Bring Intellectaa to your classroom

Get your students published internationally — and unlock a discount plus school recognition when you publish together.

Why partner with Intellectaa

  • Your students get published in an international scientific journal — a real credential for college applications
  • A 20% bundle discount on publication fees when 6 of your students are accepted within a one-year period
  • Your school's logo featured alongside Intellectaa's on every published article in the bundle — visible, international recognition
  • No extra fees, no annual commitment — students simply submit individually, tagged with your school

How it works

Students submit

A teacher or coordinator encourages students to submit — each student submits their own article through our Submit page, providing their school name at submission.

Articles are reviewed

Every article goes through our standard review — a 3–4 week timeline.

Coordinator tracks acceptances

Once 6 articles from your school have been accepted (within a period of 1 year), the coordinator contacts us to request the bundle rate.

Bundle rate applied

We confirm and bill the discounted rate as one bundle payment instead of 6 separate charges — and your school logo appears on every article in the bundle, published alongside the Intellectaa logo, at no extra cost (optional).

Bundle pricing

TierIndividual rateBundle rate (per article)Bundle total (6 articles)You save
High income countries$50.00$40.00$240.00$60.00
Middle income countries$25.00$20.00$120.00$30.00
Low income countries$12.50$10.00$60.00$15.00

All bundle rates are + applicable taxes.

Bundle eligibility: the bundle rate applies once 6 articles from the same school are accepted within a one-year period, billed together as one bundle payment. Fewer than 6 accepted articles are billed at the standard individual rates.
