The Article Publishing Charge (APC) helps cover editorial review, copyediting, and the cost of hosting your published work permanently online — accessible to readers and researchers worldwide.
You only pay if your article is accepted. A payment link is sent to the parent/guardian email address provided at submission, after the review process is complete (typically 1–2 weeks).

Intellectaa Journal for Teens is an international scientific journal where students in grades 8–12 share original research, explanations and builds, which are reviewed, edited and published as scientific articles.

No fee is ever charged for articles that aren't accepted. We'll notify you by email, and you're welcome to revise and submit again.
Yes — you may submit more than one article. To keep our review process fair and timely, please wait until your current submission has been reviewed before submitting another.
Yes — as a helper. Using AI to fix your grammar or help you understand a topic is fine. But the experiment, the build, the ideas, and the words should be yours — AI can help you, but it can't be the author. You'll be asked to tell us how you used AI when you submit, so just be honest.

Every article submitted to Intellectaa Journal for Teens is reviewed before any decision is made. Nothing is published unreviewed, and acceptance is not automatic. Articles that do not meet our standards are declined, with reasons given.
Review is carried out by the Editor together with members of the Editorial Board, who are academics, engineers and researchers working in the relevant fields. Reviewers assess whether the science is sound, whether the sources are real and correctly used, whether the figures are the student's own work, and whether the writing is clear enough for another student to follow.
Following review, an article is accepted, accepted subject to minor or major revisions, or declined. Authors whose articles are declined are welcome to revise and submit again. No publication fee is charged for an article that is not accepted.
If an error is found in a published article, we issue a correction and record it against the article's DOI. In cases of proven plagiarism or fabricated data, the article is retracted and the retraction is recorded permanently in the archive. The original record is never silently removed or altered.
Submitting the same article to more than one journal at the same time is not permitted. Authors declare any conflict of interest at submission. Editorial Board members take no part in decisions on articles from students they have mentored, or that come through an organisation they are connected with.
For Schools
Every year your students build, test and present work at a school exhibition or science fair, and every year that work goes back into a cupboard. Those projects are already done. Written up in under 1,500 words, they can be reviewed and published as scientific articles with a permanent DOI.
Nothing new has to be built. The investigation has already happened; what remains is writing it up.
A teacher or coordinator writes to us and tells us how many students will be submitting. We confirm the bundle rate for your country.
The coordinator sends all six write-ups as one batch, each naming the student, grade and school.
Every article goes through our standard review — a 1–2 week timeline. Authors revise where the reviewers ask for changes.
The bundle is billed once, on acceptance, instead of six separate charges — and your school logo appears on every article in the bundle, alongside ours, at no extra cost.

Bundle eligibility: the bundle rate applies when a school sends 6 articles together as one batch, billed as a single payment on acceptance. Articles sent individually, or fewer than 6, are billed at the standard rates. If fewer than 6 of the batch are accepted, the school sends new submissions to complete the six.

School events
If your school hosts an interschool science exhibition, conference or competition, we would like to be its publishing partner. The projects are built, judged and displayed — and then they stop. We would like to give the best of them somewhere to go.
We partner with interschool events only, so that students from every participating school have the same chance to be published.
We work with a limited number of events each year, so that every article receives the same review as any other submission. If your event is coming up, write to us early.

Intellectaa Journal for Teens publishes original science writing by school students in grades 8–12. Every article carries a DOI and is archived permanently, so our sponsors are named in that record for as long as it exists.
