1. The journal
An online, open-access scientific journal publishing reviewed articles written by school students in grades 8–12 (or equivalent). Articles are published continuously and each receives a DOI.
2. Eligibility and parental consent
Authors must be school students in grades 8–12. Because authors are usually minors, a parent or legal guardian must consent to submission, and a signed parental consent form is required before publication. No article is published without it.
3. Fees

| Editorial review | Free | — |
| Article Publication Charge | As listed on our Publication Fees page, by country income tier, plus applicable taxes | Only after an article is accepted |
4. Author responsibilities
- The article must be the student’s own original work, in their own words.
- Any assistance received, including the use of AI tools, must be disclosed honestly at submission.
- Sources must be credited, with reference numbers in the text.
- Plagiarism, fabricated results, or work created substantially by another person or by AI will be rejected, or retracted if discovered after publication.
5. Review and decisions
Every article is assessed by our editorial board. Authors receive a written decision with specific, constructive suggestions where revisions are required. Editorial decisions are final.
6. Copyright and licensing
Copyright remains with the student author. Through a parent or guardian, the author grants us a licence to publish under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 (CC BY 4.0) licence, permitting others to read, share and build upon the work provided the author and this journal are credited.
7. Permanence of publication
Published articles receive a DOI and are deposited in a public repository so they remain permanently citable. Once assigned, a DOI and its record cannot be removed. Corrections and retraction notices can be issued, but the original record persists. Please consider this before consenting.
8. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amount paid to us in respect of the article concerned.
9. Governing law
Governed by the laws of India, with exclusive jurisdiction in the courts of Tamil Nadu.
